Da quando ho preso il nuovo notebook (Novembre 2007), ho avuto un fastidioso problema: non riuscivo ad ibernarlo. Sebbene la funzione di Hibernate fosse attiva ed al momento di ibernare, tutto sembrava procedere regolarmente ma, di fatto, il computer crash-ava. Premetto che a me, UAC PIACE ed è rigorosamente attivo su tutte le mie macchine equipaggiate con Windows Vista. Spesso però di UAC si parla male e, nella maggior parte delle volte, lo si fa per ignoranza. Che un device con Windows Mobile non possa essere usato come SideShow per Vista, è una mancanza. Ritengo questo post molto significativo: They say a picture speaks a thousands words. In this case, I find it tongue in cheek that Adobe's CEO Bruce Chizen got up on stage, labeled Microsoft as a "monopoly" in one breath, then talked about how great the Adobe products in another whilst doing so on Windows Vista. I also wonder at how much market share was replenished by Adobe CS2 to Adobe CS3 due to the Windows Vista's existence? or for that matter how much of the Adobe CS3 market is made up of...

Ultimamente, l'idea di cambiare portatile mi stava facendo un po' impazzire a causa dello slot ExpressCard. Non so se ci avete fatto caso, ma ormai, tutti i portatili oggi in commercio, non hanno più il buon (vecchio) slot PCMCIA ma la sua "versione miniaturizzata".
